A choice of colours

In most cases, insulated tanks have an aluminium smooth-plate, trapezoidal-plate or polished stainless-steel surface . However, the tanks can also be supplied on request in painted form, using RAL or HKS colours. This enables a particular hue to be precisely specified, a very important factor when corporate design colours or a company's identifying colour are involved.

An example from Bavaria demonstrates, however, that the choice of colour may have quite a different background:

The Hofbräuhaus Freising brewery ordered a dark-green tank system. The reason was a ruling by the local council that the tanks should be of a colour blending in with the wooded mountain behind them, to as not to constitute an incongruous element in the rural scenery.
