GROSS Behälter- und Anlagenbau GmbH are pleased to confirm the recent contract award to supply all of the stainless steel vessels associated with the Cold Process Area for the new brewery being constructed for Scotland's largest independent brewer BrewDog PLC.

The contract was awarded to GROSS Behälter- und Anlagenbau GmbH by Esau & Hueber GmbH who were chosen by BrewDog PLC to design and install the Cold Process area of the BrewDog brewery currently under construction near the town of Ellon, Aberdeenshire.
With the brewhouse already under construction it is now a race to get the new Fermenters, Bright Beer tanks, CIP system, yeast propagation & storage and water storage tanks on site ready for start-up later on this year.

BrewDog was founded in 2006 and produces about 600,000 bottles per month for export to countries including Japan, Taiwan, Estonia, Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, The Netherlands, the United States of America, Canada and Australia.

BrewDog's range of beers include Punk IPA (5.6% ABV) a hoppy American style IPA. In July 2010, BrewDog produced a 55% ABV beer called The End of History with only 12 bottles being produced. BrewDogs Hardcore IPA won Gold at the 2010 World Beer Cup in the Imperial IPA category.
